FLORIDA MODERN-DAY SLAVERY MUSEUM: The Coalition of Immokalee Workers' Florida Modern-Day Slavery Museum is coming to Charlotte on Monday, August 16th from 10am -6pm.  It will be hosted at the Compass Group corporate headquarters.

STEWARDSHIP WORKSHOP: Leave A Legacy – Charlotte Region Presents “Creating Congregations of Generous People” - A one-day seminar led by Michael Durall. Thursday, August 26th from 8:30 AM to 2:00 PM at Myers Park Baptist Church.

CONTEMPORARY CHRISTIAN BAND RUSH OF FOOLS COMING TO STEELE CREEK: As part of its 250th Anniversary Celebration, Steele Creek Presbyterian Church is hosting a concert by the Contemporary Christian band Rush of Fools on Saturday, August 28, 2010, at 7:00pm.

Ø      Enjoy a FREE concert with Prince Albert of Monaco’s Choir and Allegro Foundation…a Champion for Children with Disabilities on Thursday, July 15th at 7:30pm. Ø      Father’s Day Rally Against Prostate Cancer: The Prostate Health Education Network (PHEN) is organizing churches who will rally together against prostate cancer on Father's Day, June 20th this year.  "Join hands in prayer to save lives!"  For more information, see the flyer.

Ø      The 2010 Pilgrimage for Justice and Peace will be taking place March 28, 2010, focusing on justice for immigrants and their families, rebuilding community trust in law enforcement, and refocusing funds on new schools.  The event will be from 10am-5:30pm, with marches in Charlotte.
